URGENT - Supply & install electrical Armoured cable with issue of COC on completion |
We urgently need assistance with procuring certain critical spares needed for the freeze drier project. 1. We urgently need to cut the floor for the power supply cable. We will need to hire a jack hammer as ours is missing from the stores (Security Manager was informed last week). 2. We need to buy a new cable. The current one has been in place since 1982, and the insulation may have deteriorated. It should have been tested but sadly that has not been done. Phophi had been informed last year around August that it had been tested but alas that was not the case – we do not have the equipment to test it ourselves (we do not even have a mega on site). For that reason, we cannot use it as that will be in breach of the electrical installation regulations. 3. Again, not to fall foul of the electrical installation regulations we need to install an electrical isolator. That has not been procured. Please use your good offices to facilitate the procurement of these spares and hiring services. |

WATER SYSTEMS SOLUTION FOR ONDERSTEPOORT BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTS (OBP) |
Vendors must specify how their designs meet the following standards: Criteria Potable Bulk Storage PW / WFI Storage Material High-density polyethylene (HDPE) or Epoxy-coated Carbon Steel 316L Stainless Steel (controlled sulfur content) Surface Finish Standard industrial food-grade Electropolished internal surfaces (\(R_a \leq 0.38\ \mu\text{m}\) or \(0.2\ \mu\text{m}\)) Geometry Vertical cylindrical or modular sectional Vertical, jacketed, fully drainable, crevice-free Sanitization Chemical (Chlorination/UV dechlorination) Continuous hot looping (\(\ge 80^{\circ }\text{C}\) steam jacket) or Ozone Contamination Control & Loop Integration For pharmaceutical-grade holding tanks, please detail options for: • Vent Filtration: Hydrophobic, sterile-grade, gas-retentive vent filters with integrated heating jackets to prevent condensate blockages. • Blanketing: Nitrogen or sterile compressed air head-space blanketing. • Spray Devices: Fixed or retractable Clean-In-Place (CIP) spray balls ensuring 100% wetting coverage. Vendor Information Requested Company Capability & References • Provide brief evidence of previous installations in cGMP, WHO-prequalified, or FDA-regulated vaccine/biologics production settings. • List standard delivery lead times for manufacturing and site assembly. Technical System Description • Submit general assembly drawings (2D/3D templates) for both bulk raw water and sanitary storage blocks. • Detail the automation architecture (e.g., PLC/SCADA integration) for real-time level, conductivity, TOC, and temperature monitoring. Water Conservation & Recirculation Options • Describe how your system maintains constant turbulent flow during prolonged holding to prevent biofilm growth. • Detail any integrated water recycling or reject-recovery mechanisms within the pretreatment loop |
